The DesignEuropa Awards recognise excellence in design among holders of registered Community designs (RCDs). The 2024 edition represents the first of a new generation of awards as, from now on, the DesignEuropa Awards will take place annually! It will follow the success of previous editions in Milan (2016), Warsaw (2018), Eindhoven (2021) and Berlin (2023).
The ceremony will take place in Riga (Latvia), the Art Nouveau Capital of the world, and the new home to the Latvian Design Centre. Moreover, this city hosts design communities such as the Society for Experimental Graphic Design (SEGD).
Applications for the next edition are now open! You can apply for one of the following categories.
- The Industry Award: designs from large and medium-sized businesses.
- The Entrepreneurs and Small Companies Award: designs from entrepreneurs, small companies and recently established enterprises (size is not taken into consideration).
- The Lifetime Achievement Award: designers with a substantial portfolio, who have had a considerable impact in the field of design.
Eligible designs must be valid RCDs that have been marketed and sold (in any country) by the owner or a licensee.
