The European Union's premier annual event, EU Industry Days, is scheduled to take place from 4 to 6 October 2023 in Málaga. The event, branded as #EUID23, aims to focus on key industrial policy discussions, connect industry leaders, and boost the knowledge base of European industry.
This year's discussions will pivot around:
- Green, digital, and resilient transition.
- EU's strategic autonomy objectives.
- Integrating Ukraine into the EU single market and reinforcement of the EU's defence industry capacity.
Furthermore, the event will showcase eight significant projects funded or backed by EISMEA. Notable mentions include BOHEME - Phononic Vibes, Zeleros Hyperloop, and GENAQ. In addition, Skillab, the winner of the EIC Prize "European Social Innovation Competition" in 2021, will also be featured. Attendees will also benefit from the 'Meet-the-Experts' segment. This will highlight EISMEA-funded initiatives and give participants the opportunity to interact with experts on EU initiatives designed to furnish industrial stakeholders with essential knowledge and funding.
Key representatives from the Enterprise Europe Network partners in Andalucía, the International IP SME Helpdesks spanning regions like China and India, as well as the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs intermediary organisation, will be present.
