The objective of the SME Fund is to financially support European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that wish to receive an intellectual property (IP) Scan, where IP experts will help them identify the value of their intellectual property assets and/or SMEs that wish to directly protect their trade marks and designs, through the national, regional, European or international IP systems or to protect their patents at national level at the European Union Member States Intellectual Property Offices.
