The IP pre-diagnosis service is open to SMEs that wish to develop an approach to protection of their IP assets. It is the first evaluation of IP needs such as protection of innovations, treatment of confidentiality, contractual frameworks or documentary research.
Technical requirements
The IP pre-diagnosis results in a report listing recommendations tailored to the company's specificities. What are the advantages of the IP pre-diagnosis?
- An objective and qualified analysis: it takes into account all industrial property tools (patents, trade marks, designs and models) that can be used within the company, including contracts, licenses, documentary research, purchases and sales of technologies.
- A prospective vision of its competitive advantages both in terms of the protection provided by IP Rights and its other possible uses: technological and legal watch, licenses and partnerships, valuation of assets, etc.
- A concrete action plan to prepare for the future: an IP pre-diagnosis enables to identify possible courses of action and the internal skills within the company necessary for the implementation of an IP policy. It also gives an insight into the roles of different actors in the IP field as well as costs of services.
